Our Facilitator has been in a few times, and in 2024, I have the privilege of working one-on-one with Nikki. Here are some of the discussions and examples we have been given.
Activities
Invasion games and moving into space

Using Uneven teams - like piggy in the middle 4 on 2
Try to get 5 passes or an interception
Helicopter - Pads made using colour cones. Call a colour those students have ot move to a different colour. Taggers with a small pool noodle tagging below the hips.
Modifying
Add Alt Delete is one phrase you can use to modify a game:
- What can we add, alter or delete
- Such as removing a ball, altering the type of ball or adding an extra ball

Integration of Literacy and Maths into PE
- Using movement to help with learning in math
- Scrabble - collect letters to spell the specific word
- Countdown - consonants and vowels, 1st team get back 3 letters, 2nd team… - 2 letters: after each relay. Which team has the longest word, which team has the most points from word score
- Fraction Tag - make a whole using the fractions
- Number Bonds - What makes 10, 20 or Even Factors of..
- Place Value Relay
- Positional Freeze: in on, under, beside, opposite, adjacent, parallel third …
- Using movement to help with literacy

- Pop, Pop in the Pot - remake the sentence
