Profile Poems - Creating Description

 I enjoy using scaffolds to help teach students. They give them ideas and structures to achieve. In trying to build character descriptions we looked at Profile Poems. We started writing them about ourselves and then thought about characters in books we've read. This in turn led to thinking about the characters in our writing.
